First things first. Suntan lotion. That should be the most important item in everyone’s bag. You need to protect your skin! Besides who wants to worry about wrinkles in the future?! I really like either this Sun Bum Spray or this Coppertone Glow that makes your skin look like its sparkling in the sun. ✨
I personally have more of an olive skin tone so I like to stick to an SPF around 30 and then put a tanning oil on top. This way my skin is protected but I still get a good tan. This one literally will make you a bronzed goddess within an hour. ☀️
After lotion I always apply Chapstick. I love the Sun Bum coconut 🥥 and watermelon🍉 flavors 💋 They are hypoallergenic with SPF and aloe vera to protect and keep your lips moisturized all day long.
Next I like to get all set up. I lay out my beach towel, put on my sun hat, and get comfy with a good book! My last read, The Unhoneymooners was definitely a good one for the beach. I’m currently reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner or Azkaban. I never read the Harry Potter books growing up so when I finally had all this free time during quarantine, I decided to give them a shot. Im absolutely loving them so far! Now I REALLY want to take a trip to Universal Studios and check out The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Any series you can't put down right now?!? Comment below your favorite beach reads! Besides reading while I lay out, I’m also OBSESSED with listening to Crime Junkie Podcasts. They are seriously SO good! I highly recommend. Don’t forget your headphones though, your neighbors may be “normal” and not want to hear about a body that had been chopped up 🙄🙃
I don’t know about you, but when I get out of the ocean my hair is always a knotted mess from the salt water. I always carry a mini Wet brush with me along with detangler. I swear on this combo. A few spritz of this detangler and the Wet Brush will comb right through.
Finally you can’t forget about your accessories! Sunglasses, a cute coverup, and flip flops! Dress up any look by thowing on some cute shades 😎, add a coverup over your swimsuit 👙 , and add some studded sandals. 💎
